Welcome to my blog

Hello and welcome,

We all take time to plan and plan and plan and set up contingencies and rainy day funds and a whole lots of complicated and some not so complicated plans and then life throws us a curb ball and then poof; it all goes up in smoke faster than you can say contingency...

If you are like me then this is such a norm.  I am a normal guy got caught up with this rat race that we call life and was rewarded with lots of all so wonderful stress.

But its not all stress and work, there are so much we do almost everyday which brings a smile to our face and joy to someone's hearth and at most time we do not even know or stop to enjoy the moment...

Well let's all spend some time together leveraging on those and while doing so see where we can save.  I know this blog is about savings but is it money all we need to save? What about our sanity alone the way and our health for later on???? And of course or mortal soul for the here after, if there is a hereafter...

Without getting too deep, let's focus on the simple things in our everyday lives and community which can gain us some savings but bear in mind the bigger picture along the way so we do not lose focus and ourselves along the way.  The worst we can do is get rich and mistakenly think that's success but has no one around to share it with; instead we are surrounded by things and that's all.  You all knows what I am trying to say.

In this blog we can discuss so easy things we can do around our home to save money, such as how about building a compost heap, a spending and cash flow log; what is cash flow and is it really that important.  Savings for a project verses borrowing and doing it now, coupons and a whole lot of other things which can save us a buck or two...

So let's get pumped up, inspired and get off our couch and go take it.

A friend of mine was about to go into the exam room, paralyzed by fear and was sure of certain failure.  Under prepared and uncertainty played its part - we have all been there.. I told her using my most upbeat expression I could have managed at the time, because I was about to go into the same exam, lol; anyhow I told her, to remember this exam owes you money.  Think about it, if you owed the mob money they would come break your legs just to send you a message; so go in there and remember this exam stands in your way of your money.  Go in there and break its legs and don't stop there... Needless to say we both passed with flying colors.  Its not about being under prepared - we all got the same resources of the successful persons around us its just that we do not see it.

So are you ready? Savings and having fun doing it; we got to get up and go get it.  In my next set of post we would look at more detail ways to save; I just wanted to take this first post to set the tone and pull out some weeds from our garden...

Until chat again keep aiming for the heavens, because even if you miss you will find your self amongst the stars.

Compose Heap

Hi Guys, Here is a great way to save money, save the environment and have lots of fun. Have you ever noticed how we have lots of fun in areas which you thought would have just been work and boring.... Well a compose heap is one such activity. Its a lot easier than you would think; most of us already sort our garbage so why not just take the biodegradable items out and set up a place for it and let nature do the rest.  The resulting soil will be filled of rich nutrients needed to enrich your soil, which is a savings on buying fertilizer or premix soil. I came across this page and there are so many more which can give you great insights and guidelines, here take a read: https://www.nrdc.org/stories/composting-way-easier-you-think?gclid=CjwKEAjw-LLKBRCdhqmwtYmX93kSJAAORDM6i0xjtyaOFM2hei2R6z2SzKG8BJ7TKBFg4Y7xFgkzZRoCAnvw_wcB.
