Hi Guys,
Here is a great way to save money, save the environment and have lots of fun. Have you ever noticed how we have lots of fun in areas which you thought would have just been work and boring.... Well a compose heap is one such activity.
Its a lot easier than you would think; most of us already sort our garbage so why not just take the biodegradable items out and set up a place for it and let nature do the rest. The resulting soil will be filled of rich nutrients needed to enrich your soil, which is a savings on buying fertilizer or premix soil.
I came across this page and there are so many more which can give you great insights and guidelines, here take a read: https://www.nrdc.org/stories/composting-way-easier-you-think?gclid=CjwKEAjw-LLKBRCdhqmwtYmX93kSJAAORDM6i0xjtyaOFM2hei2R6z2SzKG8BJ7TKBFg4Y7xFgkzZRoCAnvw_wcB.
It can be as organised and clean as this:
Or a quick and simple method such as using an old washing machine tub:

If you think about just the food such that is thrown out - its considerable... And there is a bonus, birds love to come visit your compose heap as there are lots of goodies for them, so you will get to enjoy them and hear their singing and their conversations. Of course if you do not want to share your compose heap with the birds then you can simple cover it with a piece of tarp.
So lets all get on our way to contributing to saving the environment. Let me know what are your ideas on compose heaps. Send me some pictures as well of some projects you got around your home; with today's on line world, getting outside with friends seems to be fading, So do your part to save your self, you will get some exercise in there too :)...
Have fun guys and don't for get to leave a comment below....
